ducks and geese wont go in my pond!

Haha thank you. This crap only happens to me I think. I check our ponds daily because gators are sneaky, like a coyote that can swim and hold his breath, but bigger and meaner. People don't realize how much they travel either. They will walk great distances across land to get to a new pond for food (and for a girlfriend LOL)

Thanks for the welcome. I started the first part of August and now have 18 ducks and 4 geese in my pond, so I will be on here a lot trying to learn.

thanks for the fast and helpful come backs! I know there are no snappers or we wouldnt have the amount of fish we do have but as for other rodents or minks not sure but I dont think they are in our area? southern ontario canada. but what a heart break to witness that! we also have a wind powered pump in the pond it stays open most all of the winter! so it would be useable all year. so i think its decoys and alot of patience.

There are mink in your area as well as other members of the weasel family.
