Ducks and their treats - go figure!

My 2 big ducks are so suspicious of peas after gobbling up a mouthful of frozen, that they just look at them and wait. I have to let them thaw and hand them a couple, then once they see thats its soft enough to eat they jump on the others...That first mouthful of frozen is priceless though...

Mine never got into bananas...grapes, oh yeah. They love firm grapes.
 
The funniest thing I have ever seen, and the biggest favorite treat for my ducks is watermelon. Simply cut one in half and lay it on the ground. my two girls will gut a half watermelon in less than 3 minutes. they like honey due melon not cantelopes but watermelon in the all time obvious favorite. seedless of course duck dont digest seeds well

Could I feed my 5 duckling watermelon since its soft? they are two weeks, 2 of them will be 3 weeks on Monday.

Sure, just make sure they are only getting it as a treat so they will eat their feed that has the balanced nutrients in it. don't forget pics.and anytime you feed anything other than their starter feed they need grit.

mine always loves bananas too the mushier the better, and the would grab the peel and run around the yard fighting for it

I have tried watermelon, strawberries, and kale. all were a hit! well just trying the kale now...will let ya know how that goes! haha. think they would eat anything I put in their brooder.
