Ducks ate their eggs

We filled the little gaps that we did have. We haven’t lost an egg since but we also added a nest box and she lays all in the same place now as well and she’s laying almost daily so it worked itself out. Thank you for the replies! We had a horrible raccoon infestation last year so I know how nasty they can be but I’m thinking this just have been something smaller if something was getting in after them

What kind of ducks are you trying to get to go broody? Some are more prone than others.

She’s a Cayuga. She has a clutch of 12 now. I expected her to become broody but she came out of the duck house and is out and about. Is there a way to get them to lay and become broody?
