We filled the little gaps that we did have. We haven’t lost an egg since but we also added a nest box and she lays all in the same place now as well and she’s laying almost daily so it worked itself out. Thank you for the replies! We had a horrible raccoon infestation last year so I know how nasty they can be but I’m thinking this just have been something smaller if something was getting in after them
