They do end up eating most of the shell most of the time as well, just don’t eat the egg whites.Being your ducks are going more for the yolk than the shell, I would guess it is a lack of something other than calcium. I'm surprised that free ranging isn't getting them what they need, Trying a higher protein feed might help.
Yes it’s in a bowl right beside their food outside. It seems to look as if they’re starting to eat it now.Looks a lot like the oyster shell I buy. Have you got it in a bowl close to where you feed them? I don't always see mine eating the oyster shell but they are because I have to fill the container 1X a week.
