Ducks deliberately breaking and eating eggs

Put it over a treat that you wet down or chopped tomatoes something they will eat up. I put it over the oyster shell
While that Sounds like a good idea, this isn’t like a powder, this is small pebble like things. They would just dig the treat out and leave the calcium

Well, that is interesting never seen anything like your talking about.

Looks a lot like the oyster shell I buy. Have you got it in a bowl close to where you feed them? I don't always see mine eating the oyster shell but they are because I have to fill the container 1X a week.

Being your ducks are going more for the yolk than the shell, I would guess it is a lack of something other than calcium. I'm surprised that free ranging isn't getting them what they need, Trying a higher protein feed might help.
They do end up eating most of the shell most of the time as well, just don’t eat the egg whites.

Yes it’s in a bowl right beside their food outside. It seems to look as if they’re starting to eat it now.

This is the card that comes on the birds food bags if it helps at all
