I am building a duck pen. I actually found the design on here. Can I mix species?

I want to put some Rouen's in with my Pekins?

Is that possible?

Rouens and Pekins should be fine together

Make sure you have the right drake/hen ratio

What ratio would you recommend. I have 2 pekins and I want to just go with adult rouens so I'll know what I'm getting. I have no idea the sex's of my pekins yet.

3:1 females to males is ideal, but 2:1 works out, too.

I have 5:1. but at least 2:1 is ok.
