Don't worry, this is my first hatch too! Something will happen!! Just try to relax and wait it out. I was going crazy last night and earlier today

I have 10 eggs in a homemade incubator right now and the humidity is baffling me. The humidity is up to 77% but I'm having a hard time getting the temp up above 96. It's not adjustable. Our heat has also been shut off for a few days so I'm not sure what to do.

My almost 3 year old got one of those chirping fluffy fake chicks in her easter basket ( her grandmother got it for her) Everytime I hear one of the kids playing with it I nearly jump out of my seat thinking that its coming from the incubator.
