I only saw Gamebird Starter in our local feed store. it's 22% Protein vs 18% for regular Chick Starter. Will this be OK for my baby chicks ???

Where in NY?
Wonders if maybe @Poultrykeeper12 lives closer to the big city.I live in NY and all 3 of the TSC stores in driving distance to me are open, so are the other feed stores. They are essential businesses.
Yes as long as it's a Crumble or Mash. If it's pellets you could put in a blender, fill only to the 5 oz line. My blender wouldn't mix thoroughly when I filled over that. I wouldn't feed 22% long term, get some 18/20% ASAP.I only saw Gamebird Starter in our local feed store. it's 22% Protein vs 18% for regular Chick Starter. Will this be OK for my baby chicks ???

To give a higher protein content you can add cooked and chopped eggs.OK, so...lets say you can't get out period and you have to make due with what you have already in the house/apartment, etc. Or maybe you ordered something but need to buy time, like 2 or 3 days.
You could for a short time work with cooked oatmeal. Or wet some corn flakes and milk. You could mash up some canned corn also.
So was Kellogg's scamming us? Did they know they were feeding humans chick feed? All kinds of questions are popping up.
These would be lower protein than they actually need. But it would be better than starvation, but the lower protein content might not be good for their health if done for a long period of time.
