Due to the pandemic...

Hello Byc! I live in New York and as you probably know, I'm quarantined. and it just so happens I have baby chicks coming in a week! I have a heat lamp and bulb, and a brooder. I don't have chick feed or containers for them. I have no Tractor Supply around because they all shut down due to the corona Virus. Any suggestions? Also the only stores that are open are grocery stores. Thank you! And stay safe.

Chewy.com carries chick starter and delivers, and TSC also offers nationwide delivery according to their website. Good luck! Also, our local feed stores are considered essential here in California, and they offer curb side pickup. Did you call to make sure all the local feed stores are closed there? Hope you can find starter in time for your chicks! I also have chicks arriving next week.

Yes I could do that. However I don't think it would come on time because everything is getting delayed.

You could check - I can get some by Wednesday. Do call and double check your local feed stores though. They are considered essential in MA and ME. It's not like one can get poultry/horse/pig/goat feeds and supplements in a grocery store

Feed stores are essential businesses here too. Call around and double check. The ones near me are either doing curbside service or open reduced hours.

I live in NY and all 3 of the TSC stores in driving distance to me are open, so are the other feed stores. They are essential businesses.

I live in Northern NJ and all our feedstock are open, just doing curbside only.
