DuMans breed of poultry?

Very interesting topic....I saw these birds at 2 different shows last summer. The family came up from Pa. were a father - son team showing off thier birds. They were a show stopper, everyone stopped to ask a lot of questions about them. I did over hear them telling someone they are meant to table bird in europe. they were origionnaly bred and fed for the table. Today a fancy show bird.

Hello William, I just joined the forum and I had to make this my first post. I am so excited to find all the info on this thread. I will be recieving six La Fleche hatching eggs some time in March. They will be my first eggs. I found this thread while researching about the breed. The more I read about the La Fleche the more interested I am. If my eggs are a sucess this may be my breed. I am very happy to find all this info thank you all.
