Dumb daDumb Dumb candling question

hold the egg and look from the side and now I know I am turning them around WAY TOO MUCH while candling

Don't feel bad. I did that, too, on my first batch. Even though I'm being more careful now, I realize I can and WILL be a lot more careful in the future. I have been tipping the ones I think are bad on their side to get a better look and not tipping the ones that I think are good.

It's hard to get the experience you need without being inquisitive & overdoing it.
