Dumb question about breeding bantam roo with standard hens?

They will be whatever extra Roos they have at the time, and probably LF. People have gotten pullets and I read where someone got a Silkie but mostly it seems like RIR, or Production Red, or Red Sex-link looking chicks. Seen alot of the Black-Sex links, too.
Cochins seem easier to sex then some, their little combs develop pretty fast. If you post pics of your chicks on here when you get them someone will be able to help you.

Anything is possible. It would probably depend on the size of the hen and how determined the bantam roo lol! Not all bantam roos aren't as docile. Many make up for their size by being twice as aggressive. I know a mille fluer bantam roo (little Angus) who is pretty protective. I heard a australorp standard roos are pretty docile.

I have more trouble out of my bantum roo than I ever do out of my standard boy. The banty crowed first and now crows the loudest. His crow is a higher pitch than the big boy and it carries further. On the plus side he is hysterically funny and cute as can be. While he tries to attack me about once every two weeks, he's small enough that he doesn't do any damage and he's pretty easy to tuck up under and arm for a little heart to heart. Aside from being a pain in the tookus, he's fun to have around.

My big guy is a buff orp, and while he's a hoss of a rooster, he's pretty mellow. His crow is more bass and he crows less. He has only challenged me a couple of times and only when he thought I was trying to hurt one of his girls.

Just to add- my banty boy is all about doing the deed with the standard girls. He seems to have no trouble at all.

My guess of the packing peanuts would be White Leghorns or White Rock males. I never waited around to see them grow up LOL! They were sold around two weeks of age.

Yep Bantam roos can breed LG girls LOL! Never had a problem either!

Well I got my chicks on the 5th, and they sent me 6 little light brahma boys as packing peanuts, They are so cute it is unreal! Is that a pretty Docile Breed? maybe I could keep one of them.? Im going to have to sell them, or give em away, or as the boys say just eat them. Kinda hoping one is an accidental girl! They are the prettiest little chicks! Anybody Know where I can buy a stiffer spine! This is gonna be tough!

i had a roo that was a bantam cochin that bred a standard ameracauna, but you should know some of your chicks will be standards and some banties. mine were cute the standard chicks kinda had their own "minnie me's" in the banty chicks.

Your best bet would be to get an athletic, clean-legged banty roo for them. I say clean-legged because I would think that the feathers would...err... get in the way of things if he has large hens.

Examples:
OEGB
Dutch
Sebright
