Well, I gave a whole dozen of eggs to a neighbo that 'loved eggs'
They had been layed that week, and she THREW THEM ALL AWAY.

Said they were bad 'cause they had 'water' in them bahha
It was the EGGG WHITE cause some have extra....still..I was annoyed

Along the same line, I gave some to a family member. They threw them out because they didn't get used up in a week. He was afraid that, because they didn't come from the store, they'd go bad faster!

I have a burning desire to know if when you wrote neighbours did the spell check try to reject it? I have played competitive scrabble and throw the occasional U into some words, it is completely acceptable in American English but spell check programs seem to ignore that....whew, what an aside that was!

Now about the rules, I would give him an 80% grade which is not failing anyways.

I have decided to adopt most of these rules and add to them.

1. fire is hot
2. food is good
3. Alcohol is a food group
4 sex is a fairy tale
5 Human females over 11 are evil
6 Chickens make the best friends
7 watching sports is a waste of precious time
8 life is not worth living without a good dog

I felt a need to change them slightly as to not be called a plagiarist.
Life not worth living without a good dog? I'll go cuddle a cat, thanks. -_-

My barber as a kid had a console like #2 with a tv in the center of it otherwise almost identical, neighbor 2 doors down growing up had one like #1 a little different but it seems a lot of stuff changes a little year to year, plus someone always makes their own version of the same thing but a little bit different

No problem. I wondered if my post accomplished what I was going for. Guess not. Oops! I'm a very facetious person, so it's difficult for me to write in a straightforward style ... Unless, of course, I'm writing a psychoeducational report for work. Maybe that's why I have my tongue in my cheek the rest of the time.

OMG. You really *are* serious about music! Do you play that gorgeous piano?

Holy lord, BB, your home looks like a music-lovers fantasy world. I love it. There should be more people like you in the world.

I play piano and organ. Been a musician/choir director for the last 47 years, but not my full-time job. I work in the legal profession. For now, I deal mainly deal with Gospel music, but have played, and have many music scores, to Beethoven, Mozart, Schubert, Bach, Chopin, Rachmanninof etc. Want to get back into that. Oh, I also like doing woodwork, too, building cabinets. Just one more thing to add to the list of hobbies.

There are a bunch of little kids in this neighborhood, and may start teaching piano again. They hear my old record player playing Classical music when I have my front door open. I even keep an old record player out in the garage while out there and let the neighborhood hear the music. I don't see retirement as living in luxury, so any extra income will help. --BB

Ahhh ... Rachmaninoff, Debussy, Chopin ... A man with good taste! Please teach the kids ... It's much better for their developing brains than most of the drivel they're subjected to these days. You'd be appalled if you saw what's happening to the kids like I do on a daily basis: no patience, an aversion to effort & hard work, lack of curiosity for the larger world, impoverished vocabularies, and creativity replaced by rampant consumerism. I'm really saddened by it all. :idunno
