Their post has nothing to do with this thread though. Maybe they are just thread hijacking all over the place and thats why you are seeing it a lot? Cant help thinking that if they knew it wasnt the right place to post then they shouldnt have as its just confused everyone LOL

OMG this is hilarious! How can people be so incredibly dumb???? This reminds me of a woman I used to work with. Our office was close to the airport so there were signs along the highway saying "low flying aircraft." This woman apparently stewed about it for weeks and finally blurted out "well what are we supposed to do? You can't duck if you're driving!" She was serious.

Only in the country side do we refer to an hour's ride as "just up the road". Gotta love living in the country.

Beautiful location, BTW. Much different mountains than here in the Blue Ridge.

Hey there everyone! My name is April. I am new to raising chickens, just received 6 in August. They are such a joy to be around. When I got them, I believed there were 6 laying hens. After a few weeks, I realized that I had a rooster among the flock. One of my neighbors said as long as my rooster only crowed during the morning, everything would be ok.
So do people think these animals have timers on them to shut up at those people's will? Crazy!

No kidding! We just lost our young rooster recently (our dog killed it and 5 of our pullets), but he would crow from before sunrise to sunset. Fortunately our neighbors didn't mind.

I don't understand why people "hijack threads" like this I understand if the conversation "drifts" into a different discussions or similar type discussions but this is crazy. sorry for my rant and hijacking.....

Well, it could just be someone who has read numerous posts, then when you reply to one of them not realizing you just posted on the wrong thread.....I'm guilty of this.....fortunately realized that I had done that.....but to stupid to figure out how to delete it......so you may see a post by olefarmersdaughter 'edited' by me that is totally blank!....

It's just beautiful. One of these days I'd love to take a long vacation "out west" and see more of our beautiful country.
