Dumbest Things People Have Said About Your Chickens/Eggs/Meat

It's just beautiful. One of these days I'd love to take a long vacation "out west" and see more of our beautiful country.

Not chicken related but definitely visit "out west"....I've had the opportunity to visit the lower 48 on the back of a motorcycle. It took 10 years but we did it.

I just wanted to point out that I and pretty much everyone in my family DID vote for Obama, but that doesn't mean we're going to go raid someone else's farm if there's a crisis--we have the good sense to grow our own food and take responsibility for our own needs, tyvm. In my experience, there is really very little correlation between the quality of a person's character and which politician they choose to vote for.

You are right, I wish that I can say the same about Bush, but to my shame I must admit that I was a fool and voted for him...

Okay so I will "tell" on myself. I started with chickens last year. When my first girl laid her first egg, I could NOT eat it, I could NOT eat the second, third, fourth...for two weeks all eggs went to the dogs. I had a HARD time getting over the fact they were WARM!!!!! I know, I know

, I just really was not expecting them to be so warm, now this comes from someone who had no problem with blood spots, but warm, nope not gonna do it. I have since, of course, gotten over it

PS Edited to say, I love this thread, I am guilty of a lot of things on this list, but I have no problem laughing at myself, it keeps life fun!
