You may be on to something, lol....every morning, while waiting for their cheese, my girls walk up the back stairs (and yes it's hilarious to watch a chicken walk up a set of stairs like a human) and then get into a group and cluck away to each other for about 15 minutes. Then they break up after cheese time....it's like the morning shop meeting at a union.
I can see Sheila standing there with her lil clipboard under her wing, "ooookaaaayyy....now lets see, Caspar, you and Speckles and Ania are on laying duty today, Little, you find us a new grub patch, the old one is getting fished out. Tard, you search through the compost pile, and Cholula, as usual, you're on dog guarding duty again. Alright, everybody got their assignments for today, lets get our cheese and then we're off!"
So *that's* what they've been saying. I've always wondered ... answers the question about the clipboard under the wing, too. Thanks for the chicken insight.
