the first thing that popped into my head when i read this was the part on meet the parents when ben stellar is talking about how he milked the cat haha.I think the best one for me was: "oh, you have chickens? So, do you get milk and stuff?"
Being less tactful than you, I would have suggested that she take some very basic sex education classes and learn what a period is because obviously she doesn't know. And being a woman, she should. In fact, if were you I would give her a pamphlet explaining the monthly cycle. One written for pre-teen girls. But that's me.I had a real gem come up at work one day. Coworker asked "isn't it like the lottery thoug? not knowing if your boiled egg will have a baby chicken in it?" she then looked very sad.
without laughing,I explained I didn't have a rooster so it is very very unlikely i'm eating a baby chicken. I then went into detail to explain how the chicken's body works with and without roosters....this is what she took away from the conversation..
"OMG those poor things! they're pretty much having a period everyday! EWWW and you're EATING it! *gags-yes a REAL gag!*
I burst into laughter and let her know she is an idiot and went back to eating my chicken-period and lettuce sandwhich. -_-
Then it was a joke. Now its something people might actually believe.I am watching a re-run of Leave it to Beaver and Beaver asked Wally if they had milk in bottles on the farm, and Wally told him yes because milk from the farm is not safe to drink you have to send it to the factory first so a bunch of people could handle it first to make it same to drink, and to think it's worse today....
Is it worse than today? I honestly don't know the difference between regulations between the two times, let alone the right dates to look up. I'mhonestly curious for details.I am watching a re-run of Leave it to Beaver and Beaver asked Wally if they had milk in bottles on the farm, and Wally told him yes because milk from the farm is not safe to drink you have to send it to the factory first so a bunch of people could handle it first to make it same to drink, and to think it's worse today....
