I heard it again this morning from a woman I bought some "hatching eggs" from..
I asked about how many roos she had in with her girls (day 10 and NONE of the eggs are showing ANY signs of life at all)..

She replied "oh we don't want roosters.. they lay rooster eggs. We only keep hens so all the eggs will be girls..........."

sad thing is.. this isn't the first time I've been told this.....

I have actually heard the bit about pure bred dogs being ruined before. It is such a misconception that some idiots will put a dog down if they suspect it has been bred by a different breed. I swear, some people are too idiotic to breath.

I had a guy tell me he had to get his female cocker spaniel spayed because she got tangled up with a rottweiler.. his reasoning was that once she had been with the rotti that she would never let another cocker spaniel touch her....
