Dumbest Things People Have Said About Your Chickens/Eggs/Meat

I'd never heard of the "fake chicken" thing at KFC until I read it here, all I'm saying is that the last few times I ate at KFC the quality of the chicken was WAY down, to the point where it was inedible and made me want to not eat chicken for a while. Large floppy veins throughout the breast meat and yellow-brown globs of what I assume was fat under the skin and a weird smell. Very unappealing.

After the suggestion by someone here that it might have been the one KFC that I went to, I will go to a different one and see what it's like because I used to like to eat their food once in a while. I'm also going to call the manager of the one that had the disgusting chicken and tell them why I don't eat there anymore.

Dumbest thing people have said about my chickens/eggs?

A guy at work asked me about "why chickens" last year. I told him for a pet that feeds you back with eggs and if you can handle doing it meat later. Eating bugs, poo for the garden, etc and asked if I should bring him some eggs.
He says "I don't like farm eggs because of the rooster crap in the eggs"
Me "I don't have any roosters, just 8 hens so no stuff in the eggs"
Him "You dumb azz how do you think your gonna get any eggs" LOL
ME "does your wife need you to ovulates each month?"
Him "_______________" silence
Me "yeah who is a dumb azz again?" lol

It was all in male teasing humor so no mean attitudes or hatefulness. Just rib poking.

Just a comment. As I've said before it seems like half the people won't eat farm eggs because they are afraid a chick will fall out and the other half think you have to have a rooster for a hen to lay eggs. There are a few birds that will not lay eggs unless they have a mate. Chickens are not one of them.

Had to grim when I read this. Where was I introduced to Dick's Last Resort? Myrtle Beach, S.C. Have never come across any up north. The food is good, though, and the waitstaff does smile while trading insults.
I've found good and not so good people all over, but in the south they do take it slower, which can be good.

so he won't eat "farm" eggs because they have "rooster crap" in them, but thinks you can't get eggs at all without a rooster... so where do non "farm" eggs come from?

LOL This is actually what prompted me to look it up. I've been to a couple while on vacation down South, but never seen any up here.

a machine uses egg injection devices (like plastic injection) forms and injects them into stryofoam or cardboard egg cartons that are already closed and are slid along a conveyor belt and into cardboard boxes, I read it on the internet so it must be true....

Most people don't realize that that's why most egg cartons have holes in them.
