x2, rabbits are furiously territorial. While rabbits don't normally eat any meat, ever, they have been known to attack and bite chickens when housed together. Works out just fine for lots of people, but it does happen.

Today, I was talking to some of my friends about my new chicks ( D'Uccles, and Cochins) I showed them a pic of what they would look like when they were older. I got a Ton of comments like
" That doesn't look like a chicken!"
" Why isn't it yellow like chickens should be?"
"What's wrong with it's face?" ( talking about the muffs on the D'Uccles)
and one...
" That's a chicken?! Well, I guess I could like something like that.) Coming from someone who hates chickens.
i went to show my cousin my new chicks a few days ago (which their brooder is build under my older chickens coop and my 2 older bantams (11 weeks old) came off the top of their coop flapping their wings because they know to come tome for treats etc she then screamed and ran out of the coop yelling "what are those things!?"Anyone get any silly comments about chickens lately?
This is why more people need a house-protection firearm handy and a security camera. Never know what these creeps will do....
I recently stopped in front of a house to get some tomatoes. I normally just leave the money in the jar, but the owner was out there this time. He helped me pick out the best tomatoes and said if I ever come by and find any with a spot on it, just to help myself, no charge.
You couldn't get me back to the city or the suburbs at gun point!
I HATE thieves!! But, I love Old Rooster's point of view on the situation: (This goes double for any low-life that would poison an animal)

We could never use a sign like that here where we love lol. Every neighbor we have is an avid Hunter and on nice (weekend) days is very uncommon NOT to hear someone doing target practice lol. Heck, every property past our house is a hunting cabin lol.
The difference between city and country life is absolutely astounding. We moved from the city last year and I'd never go back. We've gone from Neighbors 5 ft away that don't talk to you unless they think it'll benefit them in some way, fear of crime, and stabbings right around the corner to a little Valley off the beaten path with only 10 neighbors in a 2-3 mile radius where everyone knows everyone, never hesitates to wave or stop to talk. Everyone wants to help each other and be there for each other here. I'd never go back. .. Ever.
Non-meat product aren't really "healthy food". Sweetened corn flakes aren't very healthy. Properly made meat is actually very healthy. Eating a big mac though.... same thing as the corn flakes.
Other then that, I'd imagine going without meat for a long time then all of a sudden eating it would make you sick. So would eating a meal meant for vegetarians (generally, 100% vegetarian meals contain things other then just vegetables and fruits; generally some strange stuff most people wouldn't be eating) if you've eaten meat for a long period of time (or your whole life).
