How does gluten find it's way to the meat if the animal is fed grains?
I did a quick google and there is little research to say grain feed meat contains gluten or is safe or in-safe for people with celiac disease....

Did she have chickens? The only help my Gramma W had came from the 13 boys and 1 daughter she had.......same with my other Gramma, except in her case it was her 5 daughters and 6 sons. And Gramma W got up at 4:30 am to have breakfast for the family on the table by 6:00......usually a couple of dozen eggs, three or 4 packs of her homemade sausage, pancakes, fried potatoes, and hot biscuits.![]()
Well now don't be too hard on them. We do know chickens can transfer Sal Mineo to folks who eat infected chickens.Do they think a chicken's digestive system is like a copper tube and that food goes directly from their mouths into the eggs? Using that line of reasoning, they should see steak, green beans, and eggs in the toilet every morning. Honestly. Some people were playing hookey when brains were being handed out.
I love the part about "demanding", too. "Yes, Your Highness. Let me take care of that post haste, Milady!"

Fact is rodents are a great carrier of Sal Mineo, which is why it's best to keep things in check. Which of course has nothing to do with cows, but the chicken digestive system does not kill all pathogens and disease.
Another fact is we can't have 100% control over our food, not matter who grows it.
Another fact is no one knows everything about everything. Well except for my sister, you don't have to ask she'll just tell you.![]()
Another not so fact is we are what we eat. If that was the case I know a few people who eat nothing but Bolognie.![]()
I would just tell them that you trust your chickens and when you asked them if they've been eating Cow pies, they said no.![]()
Not dumb, really, just plain refreshing: I went to grand parent's day at my GD school. I grabbed a dozen eggs, and handed them to the teacher when I met her. Oh my goodness! She lit up like the sun, and cradled those eggs like I'd just given her the greatest gift. She scurried down the hall and put them in the staff refrigerator. When she came back, she explained that she grew up on a farm, and hadn't had fresh eggs since her dad passed away!

My Mom has a wheat allergy (she was diagnosed with celiac as well before she was allergy tested again because of continuing illness. Now eating contaminated food could send her into anaphylaxis ) She has no issues eating grain finished beef from my uncle, or with eating my eggs, or store bought chicken.
of course anecdote doesn't equal data, but she should react if anyone should
