He is beautiful. I love big dogs, but not that big.

I'm not too much in favor of taking dogs/cats to shelters. Some still kill animals that are not adopted. One shelter even claimed on the internet that if someone didn't adopt the animal and take care of its health problems (heart worms) that they would have to put the dog down.

I'm sure that someone would want your dog, if you decide not to keep him.

I would like him for scaring away illegal aliens. I'm sure you'll be able to find someone who needs a guardian.

I think he is a rottie/border collie(Or australian shepherd) mix or a shepherd/border collie(or aussie) mix. He could be older than you think. If a dog is not raised around going up and down stairs they can be quite clumsy at any age. He is really cute though!!!

If its part pyr look for double dewclaws. It tends to be a steller give away for mix pups who have pyr in them. But what a cutie none the less

It looks like a pyrenees x golden to me. It doesn't have to have double dewclaws to be a pyr, just like a dog with double dewclaws doesn't mean it has pyr in it. But it would be a dead giveaway with this one.

Oh, yes, a Pyr! Why can't I ever come across a puppy without a home? My friend has Pyr pups, and aside from the color in yours, they look the same.

Not a St Bernard at all. Head shape is all wrong(grandfather had one of beethovens grand children).

No way the rents would allow it. But he will be HUGE and I have a soft spot for big teddy bears.

Check is teeth, if he still has his baby (very sharp) teeth then he is under 5-6 months old. They loose the baby teeth and get their adult ones around 6 months of age. Right before the baby teeth begin to fall out there will be large gaps between the teeth. That may help you figure out an age at least for now. When he gets his grown up K-9's then he is right about 6 months old, so you will know then.

He is very cute and cuddly looking.
