Dumped pup PICS!! Any guesses on breed?

His face looks like a German shepard or a huskie.

That tail looks dangerous.

Check his toes for web feet then you will know if one of the parents is a water dog.

My lab and rot mix has web feet from the lab side.

He is not a St Bernard his head is totally the wrong shape, and he is not Border Collie either. but he does look very much like an anatolian or a Great Pyr. Even his colouring marks him for that, without considering his size.

He is beautiful, good luck to you, he looks like a happy friendly baby anyway. I hope he finds a happy home somewhere. Good for you for rescuing him.

I can't believe what people will do to innocent puppies either. A couple months ago (the day we picked up our guinea keets, actually) I rescued a little dog who was dumped downtown by a dumpster. She was adorable, looked like a terrier mix with boxer coloring, and had been left by the dumpster in full sun with no water. A nearby worker told me she had been there since the night before. I posted ads and found a home for her in 2 days... she was full of fleas, and had coccidosis & three types of worms, the vet said her living conditions must have been horrible.

I hope you can find a good home quickly (if you aren't keeping the little cutie!)

Well it turns out that he does have webbed feet, so definitely some kind of retriever in him. I got a real close whiff of his breath, and he does still have puppy (milk) breath, so he is a baby

But he is the cutest thing, I just hope he doesn't get toooooooooooooooooo big! I like big dogs, but idk about this one! He is a little tank, that's for sure! We will probably end up keeping him, thank goodness people don't dump animals here all that often! Usually it's cats, and our dog runs them off in no time. Let's hope this doesn't become a habit

He is some sort of pyr. mix...with lab/retriever probably, judging from the color, ears, and head shape.......there isnt any saint bernard in him, completely wrong head/body shape.
