There are many possibilities, but flour wouldn't be one of them..... [IMG]
You'll find alot of suggestions on BYC.

Our "chicken bath-mix" consists of sifted dirt, diatomaceus earth (food grade), and some sand. Mostly dirt, though. The DE helps prevent mites and such.....

    Hope this helps....... [IMG]

I just bought a bag of DE, do you just put it on the ground?

Do you put the DE directly on the ground?

My 3 girls found some nice soft fine dirt in the garden up under the eaves of the house, the rain doesn't get at it so it stays pretty fluffy. I add the DE to the dirt. If I just leave a little sprinkling on top they are rather suspicious. (I discovered they don't much care for 'white' stuff) I mix it in and I add to it about once a week. I just take a handful and ruffle it around in their chosen bath sites.
