Dust or Liquid??

How old are the chicks? As all the other posts already say, find out first if you do have a problem with mites or lice.

Even if so, I would rather go the less invasive method with some poultry dust containing the natural ingredient "Pyrethreum" instead of the highly toxic chemicals in "Sevin" dust. If there are no signs of any parasites at all, you may want to wait until the chicks reach laying age. I usually use a gentle dewormer like "Wazine" at about 18 weeks of age and a follow-up with the stronger "Ivermectin" pour-on about 10 to 14 days later. The Ivermectin will take care of any internal and external parasites (check out the posts about this on the forum here).
