Dutch Bantam

I am looking for a young Dutch Bantam hen... preferable a splash or blue. I would take chicks also, im having an extremely hard time finding a breeder with chicks. Please... Anyone selling?? I need her for my splash roo

Hard to find at any time. Few Blues are ever available and also few people breed for Splash (hard to find homes for them as there is no Standard for them for show)--no 2 alike in males, but truly there are some beautiful ones, but such pretty females.. And I always keep at least one Splash hen, because, bred to Light Brown, they produce all Blue Light Browns. She is my last, and I will be setting just several eggs to keep her line (imported from Holland in 1992) I want a Splash pullet, as my dear one, is the last of my Splash.. Any extra would be available--but not until about 4-5 months old.

I dont nesessarily care about what colors are acceptable for show. I just have an awesome little splash roo & I fell in love with the breed and would like a hen for him. Almost any color is welcome at this point as long as its true dutch bantam (not hatchery stock)

Here are a couple from when I first got him, he was much younger. Hes filled out allot more now. Its funny how I actually got him. I got him for FREE at a yard sale! haha

Nobody would know how to breed a splash would they? Looking for interesting coloured Dutch, any suggestions or recommendations?

Rach123, thank I hope so too! I havent really gotten into show so im sure on the standards, would be nice to know though!
