the ornamental contest is almost over once i find at least 2 more judges. i am going through the list i have and there are no entries for some breeds. if you want to enter now is your chance to do so. thank you (please if you enter more than one bird use seprate post for easier judging and try to include at least 3 pics from different angles)

Just bought my first Dutch trio, they have settled in very very well and enjoying being spoilt! i noticed their tails are in bad condition though though like they have been pecked by other birds im hoping that when they moult they will have lovely fresh big tails but there looking a little thread bare at the moment!! i would ideally like to show them when the tails are through and wondered if anyone had a good eye for the breed standard.

sorry if the pics arnt very clear but any idea if these could be entered in a show? im new to dutch and always used to show sussex so any tip on showing dutch would be great

When they are laying, I get 4-6 eggs per hen per week. The problem is that some Dutch go broody and most of mine do NOT like the cold, so they don't lay during the winter.
