I agree failure to thrive, I once had one like that who was smaller than everyone for 2-3 months.. then all of a sudden it took off and once grown I couldnt tell you which one it was because it eventually caught up. But mine didnt have any health issues, luckily it finally started absorbing its nutrients and thrived. Wish the best for yours 🤟

Yes she does get picked on a bit they're all the same age but she's a quarter of their size. She's the cutest!
Aww she’s so cute! I think she’s ok for now but if it gets any worse maybe not. Also if she won’t be getting much bigger she won’t be able to get to a roost probably so she might have to be later on. those’ll be some small eggs!😂

Did your chick make it? I don't want to lose her and we're fine with making her a house chicken.
Yes… with lots of special attention. She did become a house chicken, went on multiple RV trips, enjoyed the beach, the outdoors, then once she finally pushed through, we got her a friend and they integrated back into the flock together. That’s where she spent the rest of her days, until she reached about 8 months old and due to the vets recommendation had to be put down due to a hip injury.

Though with what I’ve learned since, I would avoid separating her from the flock. Integrating was really hard on her.

Awwww poor baby. My bantam bob Ross loves going rving

So she's doing fine for now. We had 7 silkies and put 4 of them outside in their transition coop (in the big coop but separate) stumbles is still inside with her sister Fisker who is a cross beak, and Darius clucker their hatch mate who I now think is a hen and who is acting strange. Stumbling like stumbles, using wings to balance a bit lethargic. Could it be mercks? They've all been wormed and will get second dose on Tuesday (14 days)
