Early February 2016 Hatch - Who's In?

I hope everyone is having an egg-cellent day.

Great notes @coopdedoo@. That is what I did on my last hatch. Does anyone here weigh their eggs as well for weight loss? I think that is something I am going to do this round since I'm not dealing with shipped egg air sac issues.

I plan on weighing the eggs. I'll probably just do a sampling of eggs to see any trends.

No word on my shipped eggs so I collected six from my own these last few days and put them in the incubator. I'll move these to my back up incubator at lockdown. Sorry for the poor lighting, my flash wasn't working.

I also weighed each egg, marked them with a pencil date, and logged my data.

It's going to be interesting to see your data since you are going to track weight.

USPS tracking says the Cochin eggs arrive today

The incubator temp and humidity are holding steady. My plan is to candle them and rest them over night, then set them all tomorrow morning - yay!

I found a "pop-up" mesh laundry basket that fits perfectly over the incubator as a cat deterrent - so far they are uninterested

Unfortunately the only place I have to place the incubator is the room with the litterbox.... will be temporarily moving the litterbox to another room during hatch so that I can keep the door closed.
