Early February 2016 Hatch - Who's In?

My hatch ended last week On Tuesday so almost a week old. I had 24 of 27 hatch

That's alot of chicks   Thirteen are keeping me busy enough

Lol I had already hatched 70+ at the end of January and I am setting 5 dozen barred rocks today and 5 or 6 Rhodebars and have 40 quail eggs coming somwtime before Wednesday. So I am a major hatcher

I'm sad, only had 1 of 20 hatch. 2 pips didn't make it, the rest dis.....

You need to find that little fellow a hatchmate!

Lone egg must have died after I checked it yesterday. No pips or movement, curiosity got to me and I peeled enough off to see it was dead.

But 8/9 lockdown eggs hatched! Lots of yellow @MrsBachbach

Well I'm glad you got some! Surely there is a boy in there somewhere. You need to post us some pics when you get a chance.

I did, my friend Gotro17 gave me a boy and girl Maran from her hatch. I'll get photos tonight!! They are getting along wonderfully. I might put in my 10 day old silkies also.

Yay! Glad you found some! One of the local hatcheries is having a chick day on Saturday, so my DH has agreed to let me go get a few chicks for my loner!

5 DOZEN??? My word- I cannot even imagine that many! How fun though!

Its a super blue egg layer, something from MPC... looks to be an Ameraucana from the pictures online? The hatcher was going to have some lavender orpingtons, salmon faverolles, and some silkies.
