My husband had built me a new brooder as an early Christmas gift! This is such a huge improvement on my current methods of a plastic bin and then a dog cage. The middle inserts can come out so that it is just one giant space or two or three different spaces. It is entirely movable so I can move it outside and into the garage. Each pen is about the size of my large dog cage so this means lots and lots of room for chicks, broodies, or sick chicks (or a bunny but don't tell my husband yet)! How lucky am I? Now I need some chicks to try this baby out!
