My favorite is the Brinsea Eco 20 w/ turner. You don't need the turning cradle though. If you don't have the cradle just tilt the incubator several times a day. When you tilt the whole incubator, all the eggs get a tilt. It's pretty cool.
You don't need to turn over each individual egg (I do turn them every few days though, just because I want to!) I am an obsessive candler, so when I candle, I like to roll each egg. I love my eggies
i found it for 350.00 the best i found is the size of a bread maker will do 22 marans eggs ,diswasher save completly hansd free , has humidity pump for water (empty soda bottle ful of water ) auto turn
digital program just like a microwave its the best for small time hatchers of 24 eggs at a time its called king suro 20 hears the link http://www.poultrysupply.com/suro20.html
I have the Dickey incubator and the Dickey hatcher and couldn't be happier. Both are fully optioned. I hatched over 1000 eggs last spring for a local farmer with hatch rates being 98% to 100% of all fertile eggs. Mr. Dickey is only a phone call away if you have any questions or problems.
I have been hatching all summer with A reptile hova bator it has served me well the last 5-6 hatches have been 100% there is a learning curve to them the biggest thing is not to adjust the t-stat once you get it right just let it alone and let it do its thing it may be me not turning it off yet I am in the process of building a dickey/sportsman clone and once I get that one finished I will start using the big one and use the HB for a hatcher
the easiest & cheapest is to build one, built my first one a month ago & spent $30 on it, hatched 13 out of 15 eggs!!!!!!!!! i could not belive it, they just hatched off today & yesterday, i love it!!!
