No, I didnt have them tested but the breeder ended up telling me that the parents were carriers. I was planning on getting more chicks from her so she messaged me to tell me more had hatched. I told her that mine were sick except for the chicks but didn't want to chance it she said "oh, it's fine. The parents are carriers and it's not a big deal."Have you got them tested to know it came from there birds? Yours may have had it and showed symptoms because you brought new birds home stressing them out
I didnt even think to test them because they were already integrated with the big ones before the big ones started showing symptoms. By day 2 all 10 of my older hens were sick so i figured they were definitely exposed even if they weren't carriers.
