A chicken group I'm in is having a fun little "guess the breed" game at the moment. I posted this picture of my East Frisian Gull. One of the guesses for her was Campine. They are remarkably similar chickens! I can't find anything that really points out the differences of these breeds. I swear, if they were standing side by side, I'd not know one from the other! Any experts out there who can tell me how they differ?

From what I can tell you, with my very limited knowledge. Is that campine roosters are hen feathered and have the barring ( or penciling) 🤔 in the same way the hens do. Where as Frisian gull roosters have normal male feathering and are mostly solid colored. Which would mean their color pattern differs from the female. If I’m not mistaken I also believe Frisian are a little bigger but I’m not sure.
