For Sale I have a Pair of Mottled Javas. I am not a Java person, but I got them to fill an order and to see how I like them. They're a nice breed, but I really like my ameracaunas, so I guess I am still not a Java person. These came from the nice people at thefancychick.com in Ohio. They are beautiful chickens and they are growing fast, the cockerels feet are huge compared to his body.
Also, free to a good home I have an ameracauna standard cockerel who I will give away with one or two EE hens (depending on whether you want one or two hens to go with him). I have to cull this guy because I really want to breed for blue. He is a lavender but he has buff bleeding through on his shoulders and neck and a whitish buff color bleeding through on his breast. He is way cool to look at, but I already have two other cockerels that I want to keep and even though these guys are getting along well, I feel like I am being unfair to them.
I live in Beaufort NC, but my mother is coming down from NY at the end of the month and she lives in NY, so I could probably pursuade her to meet you somewhere along her return route. She will be taking 17N to the Chesapeake Bay bridge and then probably the NJ Turnpike to the NYS thruway, if you live in any of those areas, we might be able to work something out.
