I sure was glad to find someone in the Wisconsin chat lives within a few miles when they asked about bulk seed corn. I suppose someone would have reported that too. Or the person who asked me if I had any silkies for sale. We took that convo to messages.

Just browsing the BYC site; you would be wiser to post a private message regarding this conversation. It doesn’t sound very ‘welcoming’ berating someone.

BYC rules prohibit wanted ads anywhere other than in the Buy/Sell forum.

As a greeter, I myself as well as others - including staff, refer people to their State thread frequently regardless of the topic.

Most of us are volunteers trying to help. Please be kinder.

There are a lot of threads for individual States now. I thought it might be helpful for members to be able to find the thread on their State. If a new one is Started I will add it here.
It must have at least 20 posts before I put it here as an official State thread. Right now most of them are at the top of the page. But I thought if one of them ever declined a new member who wanted to find it could look here. I like the idea of having a thread for every State. Hopefully this way the less active State threads will not be lost by the larger State threads.

I went through several pages. If there is one I missed please let me know. I found a few duplicate threads. I only posted the first one. If you have a thread and it reaches 20 posts pm me, or post here, and I will add it.

Plus, this was the rule I figured he's referring to that has nothing to do with a person simply asking a neighbor if they might have the particular bird they may be looking for.

I just let it go as this was silly to wake up a 6-month old thread over.
