Sorry about the side ways pictures...not sure how to fix that.

it really doesn't look like an EE but they vary so much she very well could be. no way to know for sure until you get some eggs

Even then you may not know. My white EE lays light brown eggs.

Here's a picture of her for comparison at 16 weeks. I couldn't find any closer to 12.

Look like it could be 12 weeks and a EE, Maybe. EEs can come in a variety of colors and such. Looks more like a boy though, if it is 12 weeks.

I also notice s/he has white legs. Can EEs have white legs? My sussex has white legs, but the EE's are dark gray.

My picture is very bad but she looks very similar to your's... Light brown eggs?? I thought they all layed blue or green eggs & rare pinks. I have a lot to learn.

My guess is that you aren't going to get any eggs from that one... but I could be wrong. White chickens (EEs) are hard to tell at this age. IF it is 12 weeks, that is an awful red comb.

I think EEs are supposed to carry the blue egg gene, but I am not good with genetics.
And I have see EEs with different color legs and different shaped combs.

At 28 weeks I was just happy she started laying last week. Maybe you could call it pinky brown.
