After zooming in more on the photo, it actually may be a cock. He has a sort of curved tail and his/her comb looks a bit distinct.
I still think it could be either

I would not worry about tail shape, it's easily deceptive

The development of some reddish feathers is highly suspect for a male. The saddle feathers won't really be visible for another few weeks.
