Easter Egger chick colors?

Pics
He is gorgeous! I am so glad I found this thread! I had EE's before and stupidly gave them away to keep other layers. Turns out my EE's were my best layers. So I got more, and now I am replacing my older EE hens and a friend is hatching a few eggs out (hopefully) after I had a pretty EE roo given to me. 4 two days ago I made the mistake of NOT avoiding the chick aisle at the feed store. Yep, 5 more fluffy butt EE's. I always was fascinated by the colors the EE's turned out to be when grown. SO, I was thrilled to find this thread! Okay here are my pullets, and I sure wouldn't mind a roo or two, I love the EE roo's, friendly and pretty.

I am amazed at how much they changed colors in just two days. One greyishyellowshi, one black white/grey underneath, one grey now showing tinges of orange, another greyish yellow with now well defined orange on the head, and then the very large one, yellow underneath with dark grey on top. Can't wait to watch the change. Hope its okay to update along.
Welcome! Glad you found us! Those are some interesting colored chicks! Not a tan or brown chipmunk amongst them. Very curious to see how they turn out.

Has anyone had an EE chick that looked like this? Wondering what it may look like as an adult

It was mostly white when I got it with just a little hint of yellow the legs are the greenest ones I have ever had yet but it's comb is already turning red and is a bit bigger then the other one I got I'm thinking it could be a roo and I hope it is I have wanted a EE roo for a while! It's also very brave runs at me when I open the brooder and it roost already on top the feeder the others dont!

Thats what I was thinking more like I really hope it's roo I think it will be gorgeous crossing fingers he is one and the only one I have I hope 6 hens one roo. Curious if any one has pics of chick to adult of their own I could see been looking in all the forums haven't seen one just like mine yet.

My hen was an Ameraucana, but she had typical chipmunk markings (chick in the front) and turned out redish brown in color. I'm getting a new flock this spring and there will be one Araucana in the bunch. I'm hoping to be able to pick a chick that looks different this time - just for the sake of change! I'm thinking if I avoid the chipmunk stripes, I'll have the best chance. We will see what the farm store has.

Wow 21 hens, she is so beautiful! Did she come from a farm store or was she ordered directly? I'm not sure what my odds are of finding something unique when I head over to pick mine up.
