I think he is getting close to eight weeks. I think he is a boy just because I have always thought he is one. What do you think ? Male or female?

I would agree, he looks like a male to me too. I'm no expert but I think that feather pattern may be male specific. You will likely see a dark red coming in on his wing bars very soon. Hackle and saddle feathers don't usually appear until about 14 weeks, so you have a bit longer to wait to be certain.

It could be mixed with a seramas chicken and not be a boy at all. The comb is pretty small for 8 weeks.
