Hi my 4 EE, I haven't name them only because I'm not sure if they are for sure Males or females. The blue/gray is the one I am most wondering if boy or girl. And the black one before it. Last pic is of my D'Uccle whom I'm pretty sure is a male. Any guesses on these young chickens? The EE are 9 weeks this next Tuesday, the D'Uccle is 10 weeks this coming Tuesday.
Ohh! She looks just like my Robin. Does she have a red breast?
Thank you! I'm not sure what is considered blue and red though! LOL! I have a feeling the second one pictured is a roo! His comb is much darker than the rest, legs are much bigger, and he's getting different colored feathers in his tail. All were sold as pullets but I understand that it's not guaranteed. I already have a Marans rooster and I promised my neighbor that I wouldn't have more than one. She is considering getting chickens though and might take him if he does turn out to be a roo so I'm crossing my fingers that if I have to rehome him, it will be just next doorCrazy for Color, your blue & red EE is exquisite![]()
She is solid black. Almost blue black, very pretty. What a ham! She looks solid black? Of all the possibilities there are, I've never gotten one that was a solid color!
