Easter Egger club!

Hi guys!!

I'm new to BYC, but we just got some EE's from a local feed store about 2 and a half months back (there were sold as aracaunas, but everyone on here says there are EE's, which is fine with me!) and I love them so much!!

I have my beautiful rooster Archimedes

it's kinda funny, we named him that as a chick because he looked so much like the owl from The Sword In The Stone, not knowing he was a rooster. His pullet name was Nutmeg, but I figured out recently that he is actually an Archimedes!!

Here's my pretty white pullet Fanny. I think she's one of the prettiest chickens I've ever owned (I don't want to speak too soon though, the SLW's haven't grown up yet ;)).

I was so excited about the thread when I saw it, and all of ya'll have beautiful EE's!!:love

Can't wait till mine are fully grown so I can post more pics! ESPECIALLY Archimedes, I think he's going to be a beautiful rooster:wee lol thanks for reading bye

Oh my, Fanny is beautiful! And welcome!

something like 10 months. really young
Aww :( Maybe you’re right about her being bitten by something. Was she walking around really slow with her feathers ruffled a little?? We lost all but one of our first ever flock because they were all egg-bound. Are you giving them grit?? (Sorry I’m grilling you I just would hate for you to lose another chicken).
