Easter Egger club!

I love Sylvester. lol!

Funny thing is, my most testosterone soaked, started crowing at 2 months old and has full hackle and saddle feathers by 4 months old rooster started out life as a Lucy. Now my kids call him Louie and I call him Lucifer because he's so ferocious. XD

And we have a couple of pullets my daughter named Harry and Louis. A name is just a name I guess.

Just checking if anyone is in need of an NN roo. I have way too many and with this weather and them not wanting to venture out, alot of fighting is starting. I live in PA.

LOL...sorry...posted this on the wrong thread!

What is NN? Do you have a pic you can put up as well?

It is a naked neck chicken or turken. Here are a couple of pics I have of some of the NN boys. I also have some other roosters available. EE mixes as well. I am just going to shovel some more snow off of the coops roofs quick and then can post some pictures. You might like some of the EE mix boys also.

My husband bought me an incubator for my birthday, and of course, I just had to make sure I hatched out as many chicks from my EE's as I possibly could. In addition, we have an EE roo named Gryffindor who takes his job very seriously, and despite being one of some 11 roosters, he is the father of at least half of our chicks.

I'm focusing on breeding chicks with the pea comb for practicality reasons. Frostbite is a problem, and the smaller combs handle cold snaps much better. The blue eggs, adorable cheek puffs, and ridiculously fluffy baby chicks are just an awesome bonus!

Seriously, with a face like that, why wouldn't I want more??

Lucky you!!
