Here she is! It seems that EE's swing two ways in their personalities - this one refuses to leave my hand and would walk off the edge of the table trying to get closer to me. She has a nice olive tint to her legs.








Here's a close up of her wing feathers, in case anyone wants to take a guess at what color she'll be.

I would certainly agree with this! I have two EEs. One is extremely skittish and won't even take a treat out of my hand. The other is a sweetie. She will jump up on my shoulder and go around with me. Plus, she likes to take treats from my hand so much that I discovered she can jump for treats and do it really well! It's adorable! I can reach down and pet her without her jumping.

I think every chicken has their own personality but the EEs, they are a little more special in some way. My 2 are in my avatar with one of my BOs. That was from a week or two ago though.

This is certainly true! The chicken I had growing up had a TON of personality, and even my little 2-day olds are completely distinct from one another. It's fun to watch them interact, and I'm excited to grow up with them!

hello everyone, I have two grown EE already plus a few other breeds. I just added Lucy and Chloe to the flock. Of course I bought them as Ameraucana at the feed store. Actually hoping for EE but was happy with either breed. Here's my question? I know they are all different. What would the coloring on these girls be called if any?my other two EE has black across the eyes. And stripes on there backs.. The more I read the more confused I am thank you for any help! I love looking at all the beautiful pictures!

My dork is a tool. I have an EE Rooster named Reeses and he takes great pleasure in attacking me. lol Just lost a chunk of meat from my leg from the feather butt. However, he's a handsome one. The EE girls are sweet and loving and adorable. Reeses Rolo Phyllis Diller

Sadly, I agree with FVRM, it's unacceptable for a roo to attack a human. If nothing else, he can seriously hurt someone very young or old. There's plenty of gorgeous roos out there that are also great protectors and respectful of humans.

The first two pics are Lucy , she's very hyper, curious, doesn't like to sit. 2nd two are Chloe, she's bigger, loves to be held and snuggles her head in my neck. I got them at two weeks. Guy at feed store said they had not been touched in that time. I have made sure to tell them tgere names 10-15 times a day and snuggle or try to at night for 20-30 min. Morning just a few due to kids, work ect.. My husband does the same. To answer your question 3 half weeks. Lucy has a tiny tail and with her curiosity I wonder if I may have a Roo? I already have 1 EE roo and possibly a RIR roo. All from same feed store.

The chest feathers are slightly different, Chloe has a bit more poof to her cheeks and a larger tail. Thank goodness some differences, my RIR had to be tagged lol
