The one with the cream head and rust color on the body was a shock when you said all boys. I had an idea about the other two. I think my mouth hit the floor quite honestly!! I am new to raising chickens so I am amazed at the preciseness some of you have!! I am in awe!!!

I lost a EE baby through the night little Pip got stepped on

my boys took it hard since this is our first loss out of 30 birds

Feed her oyster shells

I am hoping someone can help me. One of my favorite EE hen is laying extremely soft shelled eggs to the point where it's just squishy and has no shell to it at all. She is a little over 2 years old. Is she not getting enough calcium or something? What could I feed her? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I just recently lost one of my older barred rock chicks, it's so sad. Accidents happen though and out of 30, I say you've done really well.
