MommaHen77, what kind of chicken is that black one in your profile pic? I've got a bantam that looks just like that wih the dark comb and all. I don't know what kind of chicken she is.

So, in other news. Bella finally laid her first egg and it's green!! Would this be classified as an olive colored egg?
The brown one is from my Buff Orpington. The white is Eva, my Leghorn. And the green is from Bella (my ee pictured below).

I posted these pics with my coop update but couldn't resist posting them here too! Below are two of our 14 week old Easter Eggers - yet to be named! They have been with us for about 3 weeks and didn't get a lot of contact at heir first home but they're starting to warm up to us now. They've started eating treats from our hands and are much more tolerant of us. They are the two laying down, center and left.

Here is a new pic of my rooster. He is 19 weeks old now and fertilizing eggs. He has a wild comb, which I'm not fond of, but we'll see what kind of babies he throws. I'm hoping for some olive eggers from him.
