I don't think my EEs are ever going to start laying!!! I have 3 six month olds a 7 month old! Still no eggs

and I dont see any red faces!

Two of my EE's just started laying about a week ago and they were about 28 weeks old. There is still one that is no where near getting ready to lay yet and she is the same age as the other two. I don't know why it is taking her so long. None of my other EE's were like that. They are usually the first ones of the flock to lay. Just have to be patient I guess.

The days are getting shorter . You may need to have a light on a timer soon . They need about 14 hours of daylight .

DO you know what mix they are? They knid of have to same type of patterning that my chick has.

I have one like that. I was told it was a EE Sussex slash mix project.
