I have EE pullets white n black as well this year colored similar to my Brahmas and was told it was most likely from Columbian bred with blue layer.

@hosspak She is truly cute! What color eggs does she lay?
When she lays, they are small green eggs. But she hasn't laid in 3 mos... I bought her from a woman at the fall Norco meet up in 2013.

It was funny because I also brought this pretty Light Standard Brahma home the same day. Amazing how the 2 have the same color pattern and from 2 different people!

It's hard to tell but the eggs at the bottom to the right of the lt brown egg is a blue egg from another EE. The smaller blue egg at the top right is from this EE/Sussex.

My EE's are two weeks old, as well as my 2 Danish brown leghorns, and my 4 guineas. I have only lost one chick, and it was an Easter egger. So you may be wondering if I got pics, we'll i do.

This EE started out looking like she ha a pea comb but over the past couple of weeks her comb has grown! Is this normal for an EE? Also All of the others have fluffy faces but she doesn't.

The Columbian pattern has been in EE a long time . Since EE trace back to South America and I would guess the Columbian gene was named for the country of Columbia . So there is a connection there I think .
