Yeah dads a splash easter egger moms are black australorps. Splash x Black = Blues. At least so far anyways

This is one of my almost 4 week olds from my previous hatch.

Thank you! I'm not quite sure on how the genetics behind it work, but the daddy was our EE rooster, Rooster Cogburn, that looks somewhat like a Silver Duck wing. The moms were a Wild Duck wing, a silver and blue Olive egger, a silver-ish and brown Easter egger, and an easter egger I can only really think to define as partridge. We have some more eggs we want to put in the 'bator, including a red turken crossed with him. Lol.And the easter eggers of course, and maybe a cuckoo Marans..

Great example of a sex linked hatch of silver and gold . I bet your rooster was pure for red/gold and the hen silver . Very nice birds !
