Easter Egger club!

What color would this be considered?

Mom is a black australorp and dad is an easter egger.
Looks like s/he will have blue feathers when it grows up.

Thank goodness for this group!! I was starting to feel like a deviant for loving my EE chicks! I have some 'true' Ameraucanas, but I'm not going to bother about it anymore, because I am keen on the rainbow eggs. And how many different colors of chickens!? EEs are the coolest!
I have a couple chickens that the person I bought them from called them Ameracauna (sp?) (I wasn't going to argue as long as I got blue egg layers), but the rest are 100% Easter Egger so I call them all EEs (the original rooster definately was so all his offspring certainly are). I've had EErooster over Barred Rock hens, Australorp and Austrawhite hens, Production Red hens and of course EEs. I'm starting to get some variety in my egg colors as well as my chick and adult colors.

i call them partridge

That's what I was calling them, but was corrected and told they were Gold Duckwing.
I think though the color names could be interchangeable.

Do EEs breed true? If I keep an EE roo over my EE hens, will they all look like EEs and lay colored eggs? Or does that just depend on the lineage of my EEs?
.

Yes they would still be Easter Eggers. They would still lay colored eggs though it depends on if both make and female contribute the right genes to the offspring toys the colored eggs.

Pretty much like to like produce like. The colors could change depending on the colors in the background.

Is the girl in the front of the first picture the same girl that is white and beige in the second picture? She reminds me a lot of our girl Honey as far as coloring. Here is Honey....

This picture reminded me of your top picture as far as the face on the EE. Our girl is just in the back in our picture.

Well.. I haven't been around here in forever, thanks to my stupid laptop dying... I had all five eggs hatch in November, unfortunately one had a skeletal deformity somehow and we lost her. :-( but, the other four, I swear to god I got so lucky.. It'll never happen again, lol. Perfect split.. Two suspected cockerels, two hens..

and all four.

Great example of a sex linked hatch of silver and gold . I bet your rooster was pure for red/gold and the hen silver . Very nice birds !
